A Fish Made of Flint

This one looks a bit like a fish from some angles, but if that's the case, what a colourful fish, it is. It's also an unusual stone for our fields. I'm not a geologist, but I think most of the stones that I'm finding are limestone, flint or granite. I wasn't sure what type of stone this was, but after a bit of research, I think it might be a type of banded flint similar to Vanport Flint. Given the fact that I haven't found any similar stones in our field, I suspect that it might have been brought there, either through travel or trade. As usual, the artist made use of every bit of the stone and appears to have had fun with it. Could it have been made as a child's toy?
